Development

There are two ways to develop your app using the Vite Tauri template:

Browser Development: Launch Vite in the browser using the following command:

yarn serve

This will allow you to test and develop your app in the browser at http://localhost:8080.

Tauri Window Development: To develop in a Tauri window, follow these steps:

Open two terminal windows.
In the first terminal, run the following command to launch Vite and configure Unified Network to use Tauri for API calls:

yarn serve:tauri

In the second terminal, run the following command to launch the Tauri window and view your app:

yarn serve:native

Please note that there are two main differences between development in the browser and in the Tauri window:

The entity executing the HTTP calls: In the browser, you are subject to CORS rules, while in Tauri mode, Tauri's native module performs the HTTP calls, bypassing CORS issues.
The renderer engine: In the browser, the latest modern engine is typically used, but in Tauri, the OS's web engine is utilized, which may not be as advanced as modern browsers.

Building

To build your web application and package it with Tauri, use the following command:

yarn build

This will create the packaged application in the "./src-tauri/target/releases" directory.
