<h2>Overview:</h2>
<p>A2K (a2000) is a UI library that allows users to build retro user interfaces with modern web technologies. It aims to capture the feel of the early web while incorporating modern User Experience (UX) and web practices. It is currently a work in progress and not recommended for production use, but feedback is welcome.</p>
<h2>Features:</h2>
<ul>
<li>A2K offers various components such as blue screens, buttons, covers, desktops, icons, marquees, panels, progress bars, select options, stacks, startup screens, text fields, utilities, taskbars, and windows.</li>
<li>It utilizes TypeScript for strong typing, Lit for crafting reactive web components, Changesets for managing changelogs and versioning, Web Test Runner for browser testing, ESLint + Prettier for maintaining clean code, Storybook for cataloging each component, and Netlify for hosting the library.</li>
<li>A2K provides default CSS stylesheets that can be installed or downloaded to utilize the predefined styles. The CSS variables defined in the a2k-styles.css file can be overridden to customize the appearance of the components.</li>
