Forecasting Course

Overview:

The DOIEcological Forecasting & Dynamics Course is a course offered at the University of Florida that focuses on how ecological systems change over time and how to forecast their future changes. The course includes readings and discussions on scientific literature, as well as R tutorials on working with time-series data and making forecasts.

The course is taught by Drs. Morgan Ernest and Ethan White and is available each fall. Its content, including lecture notes and R tutorials, is openly accessible for students to learn independently and for other educators to reuse and remix the materials.
