Foxhound CircleCIA is a react-based theme for WordPress. It is an experimental theme that requires certain setup requirements to function properly. This theme is designed for average blogging sites with a focus on text. It supports featured images on single posts and pages but does not display them on archive or list views.

  • Support for average blogging sites
  • Best with "Front page displays" set to latest posts
  • Supports static page and blog posts on separate pages
  • Displays featured images on single posts and pages
  • No special handling for post formats

To install the Foxhound CircleCIA theme, follow these steps:

  1. Ensure you have WordPress 4.7 or higher installed, which includes the REST API content endpoints.
  2. Install the WP-API Menus plugin as the REST API does not provide an endpoint for menus.
  3. Set your permalinks to /%year%/%monthnum%/%postname%/. This is necessary for single-post/page views to work. Category and tag archives bases should be set to "category" and "tag" respectively.
  4. Make sure you have the following technical requirements:
    • WordPress 4.7+
    • PHP 5.4+
    • Node 8.9.1 + npm 5.5.1 if building locally
