CollegeConnect

Overview

College Connect is an android application designed to be a comprehensive platform for college students. It aims to provide all the necessary tools and features for students to manage their college needs. The app uses Firebase and SQLite to store and display information, and it has an attractive Material UI interface. Initially developed for BVCOE, New Delhi, it has expanded to become a third-party app for colleges and courses throughout India. The app follows the MVVM architecture and is developed in Java and Kotlin.

Features

• Attendance Manager: Integrated attendance manager using Room Library and SQLite Database to track attendance in a graphical manner.
• Notes: Allows students to upload and download notes, with information on author and number of downloads.
• Timetable: Enables users to store and manage their timetable, indicating the current ongoing class.
• Room Locator: Implements a room locator tool for BVCOE, New Delhi, with plans to expand to other colleges using a network of DSCs.
• Upcoming Events: Shows upcoming events and their details, with the option to register within the app.
• Project Collaboration: Facilitates collaboration among developers by providing a platform to list and find project collaborators.
• Settings: Allows users to view and edit personal and professional profile details, as well as view downloaded and uploaded files.
